Abandoned toilet breeding ground

Hat tip to wagga for this find!

Ray Benavides of the Fresno Mosquito and Vector Control District peers into an abandoned toilet that could contain standing water at 438 S. Lind. Mosquitoes seem to be profiting from the housing slump, as untended pools are on the rise.

Backyard breeding grounds
Local abatement districts challenged by more and more 'green pools' at vacant homes.
